The quartet of Maxwell Kamuda, Lazarus Chingova, Micheal Mlambo and Worry Muranda were arrested last week after being caught on camera harassing an elderly woman at Dulivhadzimu Long Distance Bus Terminus in Beitbridge.
The four were initially slapped with a ten month sentence before four months were suspended on condition that the quartet will not commit another offence of the same nature within a period of five years.
The quartet appeared before Beitbridge Resident Magistrate Mr Toyindepi Zhou.
The state led by Mr Ronald Mugwagwa told the court the accused persons, harassed an elderly female traveller at Dulivhadzimu Long Distance Bus Terminus and we caught on camera.
The court also heard that the touts handed themselves over to the police following a meeting between the police and intercity bus operators.
Government has expressed concern over the increase in the abuse of women in public places, with touts being the biggest culprits.
It is not the first time that touts have manhandled passengers, with one such incident having led to the death of an elderly man at Fourth Street Bus Terminus in 2017.
